Online and Digital Education have become integral to contemporary teaching and learning, enabling flexible, accessible, and technology-enabled educational practices. The National Education Policy 2020, along with the National Curriculum Frameworks for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS) and School Education (NCF-SE), underscores the importance of meaningful integration of digital technologies to enhance learning outcomes and promote equity. This course introduces key policy perspectives, national digital platforms such as DIKSHA, immersive technologies like AR/VR, data-driven decisions making, and effective strategies for integrating digital tools into teaching–learning processes. It aims to orient educators towards informed, reflective and pedagogically sound use of Online and Digital Education in alignment with NEP 2020.
