The course is designed to upskill teachers on providing Career Guidance to the students. The objectives to develop the understanding about the different aspects of career guidance. It will help in developing the desired skills in the teachers to be a proficient career counsellor along with the mastery in their own subject. The course aims at facilitating the teachers to help their students in designing career path.

Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes the need to leverage digital tools to enhance access,
equity, quality, and effectiveness across all levels of education. The policy highlights the
importance of preparing educators to effectively use technology for teaching, learning,
assessment, academic planning, and institutional management.
The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ICT and Emerging Technologies for Teachers,
Teacher Educators, and Pupil Teachers in Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) aims to enhance
educators' digital competencies in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy
(NEP) 2020. The programme focuses on the effective integration of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT), Learning Management Systems (LMS), Artificial
Intelligence (AI), and other emerging technologies into teaching-learning processes.
The programme equips participants with the knowledge and skills required to design, deliver,
and manage technology-enabled learning experiences. Through hands-on exposure to digital
platforms, ICT tools, AI-enabled applications, and innovative pedagogical approaches,
participants will learn to create engaging, inclusive, and learner-centered educational
environments.
By the end of the programme, participants will be able to effectively utilize ICT tools, Learning
Management Systems, AI-enabled technologies, and digital resources to enhance teaching,
learning, assessment, and learner engagement. The programme seeks to develop future-ready
