पाठ्यक्रम में कम्प्यूटेशनल थिंकिंग के प्रमुख स्तंभों—समस्या का विभाजन (Decomposition), पैटर्न पहचान (Pattern Recognition), अमूर्तीकरण (Abstraction) तथा एल्गोरिद्म (Algorithms)—का परिचय दिया गया है। साथ ही, वास्तविक जीवन के उदाहरणों, अनप्लग्ड एवं तकनीक-आधारित गतिविधियों के माध्यम से इन अवधारणाओं को कक्षा शिक्षण में लागू करने के व्यावहारिक तरीके प्रस्तुत किए गए हैं।
